Originally scheduled to be released on vinyl in 1995, approx. 10 test pressings of Gore Motel were made. As a result of production issues with the outer box, the release was delayed. Memphis Tonträgerproduktion GmbH went bankrupt in 1996, resulting in the loss of the original DMM lacquers meant to be used for the vinyl edition. Commercial vinyl editions of these lacquers were never produced. It took ten years for the label to release the album on vinyl with newly cut lacquers in 2005. This copy comes from someone involved in the production of the original cover/box. Handwritten side names on labels. Handmade cardboard sleeve with 1995 CD artwork glued to it.
