Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII, the groundbreaking 1972 film directed by Adrian Maben, has been digitally remastered and remixed by Steven Wilson. Set in the hauntingly beautiful ruins of the ancient Roman Amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy, this unique film captures Pink Floyd performing an intimate concert. This audio companion contains the live performances from the film as well as two additional tracks, including a previously unreleased extended version of “A Saucerful Of Secrets”.

Released in a matte gatefold sleeve with high gloss photographs inside.
Comes with two printed paper inner sleeves and a giant 90 × 60 cm fold-out movie poster, folded into six panels.

The numeral parts of the runout strings are stamped, the 2nd parts beginning with „MILES…“ are etched.

There are two similar LP versions:
– European pressing with 19802876231 on hype sticker, pressed at Record Industry [THIS RELEASE]: [r=33849456]
– US pressing with 19802876231S1 on hype sticker, pressed at GZ: [r=33871419]
