Strange Daze '97 - America's 1st SpaceRock Music Festival2 x CD 8,90 €
℗ and © 2009 Outer Music
Hawkwind tracks on Disc 2 published by Rock Music except „Brainstorm“ (EMI).
There is no tracklisting given on the release at all. The tracks appearing on Disc 2 are named in the booklet but not the order in which they appear. The only credits given on the release are Written By and Publishing for the four Hawkwind tracks on Disc 2. (See images).
Comes with 8 page booklet.
Compiles bands who played at the festival in Sherman, NY.
Disc 2 is a bit crazy. It includes 4 complete Hawkwind songs and 3 complete Far Flung with Nik Turner songs. There are 5 complete songs by some of the other bands. Then there are excerpts from 6 of the songs on the first CD and there is even 1 song (Bionaut’s „Re-Laminate My Organ Donor Card“) from the first CD that is repeated (almost) completely in a reedited form – the track begins on the second CD about 5 seconds later than on the original CD (mostly cutting off the unnecessary beginning of one long sustained synthesizer note) but adds about 15 seconds to the end! This makes it longer than the ‚full‘ version on disc 1.
Track times not printed on sleeve art, taken from: CD-Mac-iTunes.
Total times:
CD1 – 69:36
CD2 – 66:05
