Frank Zappa-We’re Only In It For The Money-LP Vinyl

All lyrics © 1968, 1995 The Zappa Family Trust Frank Zappa Music (BMI). "All the music heard on this album was composed, arranged & scientifically mutilated by Frank Zappa (with the exception of a little bit of surf music). None of the sounds are generated electronically... they are all the product of electronically altering the sounds of normal instruments. The orchestral segments were conducted by Sid Sharpe under the supervision of the composer". "This whole monstrosity was conceived and executed by Frank Zappa as a result of some unpleasant *premonitions August through September 1967". *All premonitions continuing to come true". "Is this phase one of Lumpy Gravy?" Comes with colour card insert with various 'Sgt. Pepper' parody images for cut-out. On back sleeve: RYKO Analogue. On left inner pannel: FZ approved digital master, made from original master andother raw mix segments (for better sonics), 1993. Runouts are etched, except for "SAE MASTERING", which is stamped.

Mixed at Fascination Street Studios - Örebro, Sweden. Mastered at Propeller Music Division - Oslo, Norway. Recorded & edited at Duper & Solslottet Studios - Bergen, Norway. Engineered at Peersonal Sound - Bergen, Norway. The Re-Issue features two special songs recorded during the same sessions as the album and previously only released as a 7” single; the hypnotic ethereal “Migration” (inspired by Enslaved’s collaborative commissioned piece at Molde International Jazz festival in 2008) and the doom-version of Frost-classic “Jotunblod” re-imagined for a special set at Roadburn Festival 2010. The layout features analytic and in-depth liner notes by Dom Lawson of Metal Hammer UK and Prog Magazine fame – a longtime friend and supporter of the band’s uncompromising preference of the roads not taken. The design of the album is beautifully redone with new details, colors layout solutions by Marcelo Vasco (Slayer, Kreator, Machine Head), all while staying true to the original artwork by longtime Enslaved-cover artist Truls Espedal. © EnslavedUnion DA ℗ By Norse Music 2019, all rights reserved
