Keith Hartley's career began as the replacement for Ringo Starr as a drummer for Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, a Liverpool-based band. Subsequently he played and recorded with The Artwoods, then achieved some notability as John Mayall's drummer (including his role as the only musician, other than Mayall, to play on Mayall's 1967 "solo" record The Blues Alone[4]). He then formed The Keef Hartley (Big) Band, mixing elements of jazz, blues, and rock and roll; the group played at Woodstock in 1969.

Icarus-The Marvel World Of Icarus -CD
Originally released in 1972.
Recorded in May and June 1972.
The Marvel World of Icarus was issued in 1972, and according to legend quickly pulled from the market due to a dispute between Pye Records and Marvel Comics. Without an album to promote the band didn't last for much longer, and by the end of 1972 Icarus disbanded. ( from Solidboy Music Blog )
According to Progarchives site John Etheridge joined the band after the album recording and so he is not present on it.
