Track A1 was recorded live at the Philadelphia Arena.
Track A3 was recorded live at Festival Hall in London.
The second half of track A4 was recorded at Thee Image in Miami.
Track A5 was recorded live at the Factory in the Bronx.
Track B5 was recorded live at Festival Hall and track B6 was recorded live at a concert in Birmingham (England).
Track A2 was cut at T.T.G. in Hollywood.
The first part of track A4 was cut at Whitney Studios in Glendale.
Track B1 was cut at A&R Studios in New York.
Track B2 was cut at Apostolic Studios in New York, along with track B4.
Track B3 is the original version from Criteria Studios in Miami with final overdubs at T.T.G. and Whitney.

This CD "...is in some ways meant to be the sister volume to "Before the dream faded" released by Cherry Red."

Tracks 3 and 6 to 8 recorded in 1969.
Tracks 4 & 5 originally released as single A and B-side in 1969.
Tracks 9 & 10 taken from the only surviving acetate of a recording session at Goldstar Studios, Hollywood, CA, in 1966.
The credits were taken from the liner notes by Nigel Cross.

Packaged in a standard jewel case with 4-page booklet.
Shellac-Dude Incredible-LP Vinyl
Packaged in a in a recycled cardboard album sleeve with an inset full-color image of two monkeys on the front cover. All inside a clear plastic sleeve with individual barcode sticker on front.
The LP was pressed on 180-gram audiophile quality vinyl, and includes a printed inner sleeve. This LP release also includes a CD of the full album. Barcode found on a sticker.
The LP was mastered entirely in the analog domain, using the DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) process. The LPs were manufactured at RTI in Camarillo, CA, using their HQ-180 system.
On the spine the band is identified as 'Shellac of North America'. The CD has no branding or artwork on it besides the matrix info found on the disc's hub.

Tracks 14 to 17 recorded for Border TV show in Carlisle, broadcast in July 1970
