This edition includes a 116-page hardback book of lyrics and photography, a 48-page paperback book of drawings, and a DVD with 5.1 surround mix and high resolution stereo mix of the album, everything housed in rigid slipcase. Written and recorded between September 2008 - May 2009 at Air Lyndhurst, Monkey Puzzle, No-Man's Land, Bourne Place, The Artillery, Nightspace, and Red Room Recorders. Additional guitars recorded at Red Room Recorders. Mastered at Close to the Edge Mastering. 5.1 version mastered at Galaxy. DVD authored by Opus Productions. Richard Barbieri uses the Roland V Synth series. Gavin Harrison exclusively uses Sonor drums, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, Remo heads, Hardcase, Axis pedals, Puresound and S-hoops. Steven Wilson uses Paul Reed Smith guitars, Alumisonic guitars, Babicz acoustic guitars, Bad Cat amplifiers, Ernie Ball strings and jaffa cakes. Dedicated to the late great Michael Piper.
