SPENCER DAVIS GROUP Mojo Rhythms & Midnight Blues Vol. 2 (Limited edition 14-track LP pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL) – this collection of recordings was culled from 3 live performances from 1965 & 1966. The first performance was recorded at London’s Marquee Club, in Spring ‘65, while the other two, both from 1966, were recorded in Germany & Finland during TV studio performances for local pop music shows. The Spencer Davis Group heard on these recordings is edgier than many of their official studio releases & closer to the band’s electrifying live sound!
