Recorded at the Warehouse Studio, Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Mastered at Sterling Sound, NYC.
Housed in an embossed gatefold sleeve, the red elements to the front are embossed. The sleeve is gloss black intercut with a highly intricate matte patterning.
The discs are held in side opening black / red picture inner sleeves of thin card. These have a soft sheen finish.
Some copies came with a hype sticker applied to the shrink-wrap.
Some copies from independent UK retailers came with a 25mm button pin badge.

The bonus track „In Your Panties“ is taken from the album [m=2259595], that was released in 1980.
The live version of „Nothing Going On In The City“ was later re-released on the High Roller and Classic Metal CD-re-releases of [m=251448]. But it seems that both versions are not from the same source. The version included on the In The Raw re-releases fades in earlier and fades out earlier and the sound quality is a bit better.
The cover medley „Whole Lotta Led“ consists of the [a=Led Zeppelin] songs „Heartbreaker“, „Living Loving Maid (She’s Just A Woman)“, „Communication Breakdown“ and „The Lemon Song“. It was later re-released on the High Roller and Classic Metal CD re-releases of [m=414067]. „Communication Breakdown“ was also released as a studio track on Heavier Than Thou in 1986.
„Nothing Going On In The City“ was orginally released [a=White Honey] on the album [m=1381725] in 1979.
„Heartbreaker“, „Living Loving Maid (She’s Just A Woman)“ and „The Lemon Song“ were originally released by Led Zeppelin on the studio album [m=4170] in 1969.
„Communication Breakdown“ was originally released by Led Zeppelin on the studio album [m=4126] in 1969.
