MAHLER REMIX was recorded live at Radiokulturhaus, Vienna by Christoph Amann, in May 2011.
This recording is mostly based on samples taken from Gustav Mahler’s symphonies.
The performance also included an early version of ‘Liminality’ from ‚Bécs‘, the album released in 2014 on Editions Mego.
MAHLER REMIX was a commissioned work performed together with the visual artist Lillevan.
Side 4 ends in a locked groove.

Re-release of album [r=188439] and maxi-single [r=109945], both originally released (separately) in 2001.
Comes with a 24-page booklet with all album lyrics in the original languages, plus translations to modern German and English. The inner backcover insert contains the original language and modern German translation of the lyrics of maxi-single track 2-2. Lyrics for the album versions of tracks 2-1, 2-3 to 2-4 can be found in the booklet. No credits for the Maxi-Single.
„In memory of the victims of the »Kursk«“ is shown on the first page of the booklet, and alluded to in the notes of tracks 1-1 („Symbolic funeral at sea for the victims of the „Kursk” catastrophe, word fragments from Vladimir Putin.“) and 1-14 („Speech fragments: The mother of one of the „Kursk” victims accuses the army of using young men for cannon fodder.“)
