Initially intended as exclusive one-off release [reportedly 1500 copies] to DJs for Prince’s 33rd birthday. The positive reaction caused that Prince replaced the 7th track [Horny Pony] on the [m=97248] album with a new 4:31 version and released ‘Gett Off’ as the lead-off single.
Not to be confused with the original [r=616652] DJ promo or [r=11479354] white-label variants.
